AI in My Workflow

How I leverage AI tools like Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, and ChatGPT
to speed iteration and enrich brand design

Designing smarter, faster, and more creatively with AI

As a designer and someone deeply fascinated by emerging technologies, I’m always looking for tools that push my thinking, accelerate exploration, and elevate the final outcome. Over the years, I’ve experimented with countless innovations—but AI has been the most transformative addition to my creative toolkit. It doesn’t replace design skill or vision; it acts as a catalyst, expanding what’s possible and helping me move from concept to execution with greater imagination and agility.AI allows me to:

  • Rapidly explore visual directions during concepting

  • Extend or remix assets without reshooting or starting from scratch

  • Prototype ideas in minutes instead of hours

  • Collaborate with clients more efficiently through fast visual iteration

It’s not about shortcuts it’s about unlocking new possibilities.

AI Tools I Use

I work with a variety of AI tools, thoughtfully integrated at different stages of the creative process:

  • Tools: Midjourney, Firefly, ChatGPT

Purpose: Moodboards, concept art, visual exploration

  • Tools: Adobe Photoshop Generative Fill, Adobe Illustrator's Text to Vector, Adobe Firefly for text effects, Adobe Express AI tools

Purpose: Extending backgrounds, editing visuals, creating vector graphics from prompts, auto-generating social-ready assets

  • Tools: Midjourney, Adobe Firefly

Purpose: Visualizing campaign narratives and content flows

  • Tools: ChatGPT

Purpose: Crafting naming options, tone exploration, slide copy support

How It Works in Practice

Generalized Example of AI in Action

In my workflow, AI acts as a creative accelerator—helping me move from concept to polished execution faster than ever. I use it to rapidly explore multiple visual directions, from early moodboards to detailed mockups, testing styles and compositions in minutes instead of hours. Generative tools like Firefly and Midjourney allow me to quickly visualize ideas and push them in unexpected directions, while Photoshop’s AI features help refine and adapt assets without starting from scratch. Whether I’m developing a brand identity, building campaign visuals, or shaping digital experiences, AI gives me the ability to experiment more freely, adapt more fluidly, and deliver cohesive results with both speed and precision—all while keeping the creative vision front and center.

AI + Human Design Thinking

AI doesn’t do the thinking it expands what I can do with my thinking.

I guide the creative strategy, tone, and storytelling. AI helps me visualize ideas faster, pivot when needed, and test more directions without slowing down. It means sharper results, delivered quicker, with more room for experimentation and refinement.

So, how does it actually start?

It all begins with a spark maybe you're launching a brand, rethinking your visual identity, or sharing a personal project with the world. No matter the goal, I combine design expertise with smart AI tools to bring your vision to life clearly, creatively, and efficiently.
